Indian Block Printing Workshop

For India, block prints hold a place of pride—the age-old craft of dyeing and coloring a fabric using wooden blocks has been perfected over generations.

By sharing this knowledge we aspire to create cultural awareness among non Indian community and also wish to share this heritage with young Indian children.

Experience India organised 3 workshops in one day (7 April 2024) on India's popular craft of block printing.

During the workshop participants made greeting cards using wooden blocks for their loved ones, and the experience was enhanced by the serving of chai and Indian biscuits.

We are confident that the Block printing workshops will offer a well-rounded learning experience for learners encompassing artistic expression, fine motor skill development, and cognitive growth while providing an enjoyable and hands-on creative activity.

Three workshop timing are: 2-3 pm, 3-4 pm and 4-5 pm
